This program contents are designed to provide all healthcare facility workers with an introduction and detailed overview of fires, including classifications of fires, how fire spreads, electrical safety, causes of fires, emergency plans, and how to fight fires, with an emphasis on R.A.C.E and P.A.S.S.
Also to give employee skills to effectively identify and safely perform their duties in relation to fire emergency
• Identify appropriate fire safety legislation and responsibilities
• Define fire, and fire safety • Define the elements of the fire triangle.
• Recognize the principles of combustion and how does a fire spread
• Classify fires in accordance with UAE Civil Defense Fire Code
• Identify electrical hazard, and its relation to fires and explosions
• Identify fire risk reduction actions.
• List different fire extinguishers and their use Summarize the typical fire evacuation procedures
